The 2016 Baoan Industry Development Expo (hereafter referred to as B-expo), held by People’s Government of Shenzhen Baoan District, co-organized by Shenzhen Baoan District Bureau of Economic Promotion, Shenzhen Baoan District Industrial Investment Service Co., Ltd, and Shenzhen Logistics and Supply Chain Management Association, was successfully held on July 28-30 in Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center. Under the high attention and strong support of  Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People’s Republic of China and Shenzhen Municipal People's Government, as well as the close collaboration and concerted efforts of the related sectors, the 2016 B-expo achieved a complete success, obtaining high praise from leadership and all walks of life attending the expo.

1. Forge New Brand, Build New Image

With the principle of" enterprise takes charge of exhibition, government takes charge of convention", highlighting the characteristics of "Internationalization, Specialization, Branding , and Marketization", the 2016 B-Expo displayed Baoan industry's development achievements, advanced image, future planning, competitive industries and characteristic products, forged a new display platform for Baoan industry and established a new highland image of Baoan industry, vigorously promoting the economic and trading exchanges between Baoan and domestic and overseas market and yielding fruitful outcomes.

2. Domestic and Foreign Visitors  Gathered Together to Boost  Globalization of B-Expo

According to incomplete statistics, the three-days' expo attracted 156750 visitors and purchasers. Among which, 36,987 are foreign visitors from 52 foreign countries such as Brazil, the United States, Sri Lanka, Finland, Italy, Germany, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, India, Pakistan, Russia etc., accounting for 23.6% of the total visitor number.

3. Megamerger at B-expo, high-quality companies settled in Baoan

Important projects signing ceremonies were also held during the B-Expo. Baoan district has successfully signed 25 important projects with contractual investment capital of 69.746 billion yuan. The signed projects not only include headquarter economic projects, such as Heungkong Group Regional Headquarter, SCAS Regional Headquarter etc., but also include industry cooperation projects, such as New Energy Industrial Park, Global Cross-border E-commerce Industrial Park. In addition, in terms of international cooperation, Baoan district also signed Sino-German Industrial City Alliance MOU, basing on Baoan City College, to co-build Sino-German (Baoan) Vocational Education College. With a series of market oriented activities, B-Expo realized the seamless integration of supply and demand, which gained full recognition from exhibitors and purchasers. As numerous important projects settle in Baoan, the market attractiveness of Baoan will be certainly strengthen to appeal more competitive enterprises. 

4.Widespread Reports by Various Social Medium, Previewing Branding Effect

2016 B-expo won the widespread concerns from various domestic and foreign social medium to make a comprehensive report: more than 100 state, provincial, municipal and district news medium such as China National Radio, Phoenix TV, Guangdong TV, Shenzhen TV, People Daily, Southern Daily, Shenzhen Special Zone Daily, etc., over 300 web portals such as CNR, CYOL, Tencent, Sina, NetEase, Sohu  and more than 100 overseas medium websites such as Confabb, Globalsource, Hellotrade, Tradekey, Trade-show-vendors, Dubai Exporters etc. With multi-angle, various-level and all-aspect report, it brings powerful propaganda effect to show this spectacular event and promotes the “Baoan Brand" to the world. 

5. Perfect Ending

Looking Forward to next meeting at 2017 B-Expo

As the booth dismantlement went on orderly, the 2016 Baoan Industry Development  Expo came to an end at 15:00 PM , 30th July, 2016. Serving as the China's first regional-level industry event, the B-Expo plays a significant exemplary role in regional industrial and economic development. The expo showed the achievement of  Baoan construction to the sharp increase number of visitors during the three-day expo. It is believed that with the Expo and policy guiding, the Baoan industry will certainly take a big leap in 2017.
