Japanese Logistics Delegation Paid a Visit to LSCMA

On the morning of Apl 24rd, a Japanese Logistics Team lead by SEIKE HISAKI, Managing Director of Kobe Port Promotion Association came to visit LSCMA and Ms. Zheng Yanling, the Secretary General of LSCMA met the delegation.
 
Ms. Secretary General firstly expressed her warmest welcome to the delegation and made detailed introduction of Shenzhen city, Shenzhen logistics and its development environment and prospects.
 
At present, Shenzhen is the city who possesses the most ports and the only one ports of sea, road, air and railway and it is one of the most significant windows that China connect with the world. The sound coordination mechanism, scientific development planning guide, perfect industry supporting policies and prospective talents and brand strategy equip Shenzhen a nice industry developing environment, which accelerates the development of logistics industry in Shenzhen. So far, there are over 14000 logistics enterprises and 6 logistics parks in Shenzhen. The added-value of Shenzhen logistics had reached ¥112.236 billion yuan with a year-on-year growth of 14.85%, accounting 9.76% of the GDP.

China (Shenzhen) International Logistics and Transportation Fair (CILF for short), jointly organized by Ministry of Transport and Shenzhen Municipal People’s Government and held by Shenzhen Logistics and Supply Chain Management Association, is the largest logistics and transportation fair  in Asia and the second biggest of the same kind in the world. Reputed as “Top 1 Logistics and Transportation Fair in Asia”, CILF has been successfully held for 7 successive years. A lot of Japanese enterprises exhibit in CILF every year and Kobe Port ever participated in CILF years ago. SEIKE HISAKI expressed his astonishment by the rapid progress CILF has made and he also expected more exchanges and cooperation in future.
 
The delegation also showed great interest in the operation mechanism of LSCMA. Secretary General Zheng remarked that the reform of LSCMA leads the industry of China. The characteristics of disconnecting with governments and operating by enterprises and the industry endows LSCMA more vitality and dynamic.

At last, both sides exchanged gifts and took photos together. The whole delegation expressed their gratitude for Ms. Secretary General’s reception and meeting. As there is no bound for logistics, both sides hoped they would have more opportunities for exchange to promote the development of logistics for both China and Japan.
